Daniel Lassman

Daniel was fired in week 11 after the interviews due to Lord Sugar’s lack of confidence in his business plan. Of his firing, Daniel said, "I really feel like the process was good for me. Lord Sugar has taught me a hell of a lot. It’s made me a better person, a better businessman and that, at the end of the day, is worth more than a quarter of a million to me."

'Lover of banter' Daniel runs his own company planning and running events, including pub quizzes, for companies and individuals across the country. He describes himself as motivated and determined and he says he always plays to win. His first job was a year’s contract to play for Hornchurch FC, which wasn’t renewed due to injury, before working as a market trader in the family-run business.

Daniel cites James Caan as a business figure that inspires him due to his calm and collected manner, as well as footballer Roy Keane. He says he can think creatively under pressure and that sales and negociation comes naturally to him - although his love of a good practical joke can sometimes go too far...
