Composer, conductor and musical pioneer Pierre Boulez, who died in January, was one of the most influential figures in 20th- and 21st-century cultural life. In this special event, broadcast live online ahead of the celebration concert at the Edinburgh International Festival on 12 August, conductor Matthias Pintscher, a protégé of Boulez, and film director Barrie Gavin, who made a dozen films with Boulez over 50 years, discuss his life and legacy with host Deborah Bull.
