Lesson 20
Buying presents for Christmas

Ailsa: I started buying presents round about the middle of October, just like one present a week or something like that. And if I saw something, well then, I'd buy it and then just hide them as I got them, and put them away. Sometimes I forget where I've hidden them!

I hide them because I like them to believe in Father Christmas, because it makes it that bit more exciting for them. And you watch them - their little faces, you know, to see their little faces, really.

When they get older it doesn't matter, but at this age they need to believe, I think, in Father Christmas!

We're just gonna try and get some presents out now. So I'm just gonna sneak into the cupboard under the stairs and see what we can find...
