Lesson 17
Having an operation

Colin: 've got to have an operation on my eyelid to remove a wart and I'm waiting for the appointment from the hospital now. It should be in the next month. I've got to have this operation because this wart impairs my vision when I look downwards.

I've got to go back to the hospital again and when I go back this time I've got to stop taking the drugs 72 hours before I go, and this will enable my blood to congeal after they've done the operation.

So therefore the drugs will not impair the operation.

I'm not worried about the operation because they just freeze the eyelid, so I will not feel anything. And the eyelid will be just cut.

And there's no way I can lose my sight. I'm not frightened about it; it's just one of these things that has to be done.
