Cross River State govment don pledge to ensure justice for di murder of one Late Princewill Igbonaju afta im younger brother, Ernest Onyeka Igbonaju go social media go cry for justice.

How Princewill Igbonaju die
Younger brother to di late Princewill Igbonaju, Ernest Onyeka as e narrate how di matter happun say though dem from Anambra State, dem reside for Ikom, Cross River State.
E say di incident happun on Saturday 4 September, 2023 wen im elder brother, Princewill Igbonaju Ikenna go barb im hair and say na di last time dem see di brother alive.
On Sunday wen dem go church, dem no see am for church and e make dia mother worry as di brother no dey miss church so dem go im house go ask about am and di neighbours say e no sleep for house. So di family go report for Ikom police station and di police tell dem to wait for 24 hours.
On Monday morning around past 11am, Ernest say dia father receive call say make dem go grass field to identify one corpse and di father call im and anoda of im brother.
"Wen we reach grass field, lo and behold na my brother dey dia wit three bullet wounds for im head with blood evriwia.
Dem snatch im car - im dey use a lexus 350 jeep. Di tin confuse and surprise us as we wonder wetin go don happen."
Ernest say dem try to hide am from dia mother but her motherly instinct tell her.
E say e go di brother house to check some of im documents like insurance and e find di tracking company of di brother car and di phone number and e call dem and explain wetin don happun and di company pipo track di car to Lagos.
"I tell di guy saying no, did tin happun for Ikom and in how many hours, how di car go dey Lagos? Di guy say di car dey Lagos and if we doubt am, make we come as di tracking device dey show say di car dey Lagos. Na so dat evening, me and one of my uncles travel to Lagos."

Ernest say dem meet with di car tracking guy and e carry dem go wia di car dey, for panel beater shop wia dem bin dey change di colour of di car.
E show video of di state dem find di car as dem bin dey try to scatter di car. So dem report di matter to police.
"We alert di police for Meiran police station Lagos. One Inspector Martha and her team follow us go di panel beater shop. Wen we reach dia, dem arrest di panel beater but e say na work e dey do and na one Pastor Peter Uchenna na im give am di car. Di police tell am to call di pastor and di pastor come and police arrest di pastor."
Ernest say di police ask di pastor who give am di motor, di pastor say di car na gift from one of im members for Lagos so di police ask am to call di member.
"But e say e dey receive many gifts from pipo so e no fit remember who give am di car, but di police say even if you be President, you go remember who give you car gift but e say e no fit remember. So di police tell am say di owner of di car bin dey shot in Ikom, Cross River State but di pastor deny, say e never go Ikom bifor for im life."
So di police invite di pastor wife and ask her bifor us wia her husband bin dey on di 4 September and di wife say on dat day her husband go Ikom to go preach.

In response to dis video, Cross River State Ministry of Justice say dem dey committed to ensure justice for di case.
Dis dey for one statement wey Anthony Okon Effiom, di Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary Ministry of Justice, Cross River State sign.
Anthony Okon Effiom say di Cross River State Ministry of Justice note di public concern regarding di pace of prosecution in Charge No. HM/9C/2022 – Inspector General of Police v. Uchenna Peter Chinweikpe and Valentine Alloysius (aka My Father My Father).
E say following an internal review as ordered by di Attorney-General, di Ministry confam say di case don dey reassigned to Court 2 of di Ikom Division of di Cross River State High Court and e actively dey progress.
Di Attorney-General say e don direct di Director of Public Prosecutions to take over di matter for effective handling and also don liaise with di Commissioner of Police to ensure di arrest of oda suspects wey still dey at large.
