Na on 14, July, 2022, one Lagos State High Court for Ikeja bin find Baba Ijesha guilty of sexual assault of a minor.
Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo of di Ikeja Sexual Offences Court for her ruling bin sentence Baba Ijesha to five years in prison.
Earlier, Lagos state govment bin arraign di defendant bifor di court on 24 June, 2021 on a six (6) count charge of:
- Sexual assault by penetration (2014)
- Indecent treatment of a child
- Sexual assault of (2011)
- Indecent treatment of a child (2015)
- Sexual assault (2015)
- Attempted sexual assault by penetration (2021)
Di judge for her ruling tok say di prosecution bin successfully prove di charge of sexual assault of a minor and indecent treatment of a minor against di defendant.

Court bin find Baba Ijesha guilty and sentence am to five years imprisonment on four count charges, and say di sentence go run concurrently.
"Court find di defendant guilty and sentenced to five years imprisonment for count two (2), three years for count three (3), five years for count four (4) and three years for count five (5) taking effect from today, 14th of July, 2022. Di sentences are to run concurrently." Di court bin rule.
