DSS DG, T.Y Danjuma bin also call for self defence - Kanu lawyer tell court

Lawyer to di federal goment, Adegboyega Awomolo object to di application and ask di defence team to continue wit di cross-examination.

However, Justice Omotosho grant di adjournment, but warn say di cross-examination gatz dey concluded on di next adjourned date "or I go deem am concluded".

Reacting to dis, di judge tell di lawyers make dem no dey distracted wit fake news on top social media, but to focus on di trial and finish am as fast as possible.

"Some pipo wey dey post dis tins na content creator, and dem just dey use di name of di defendant to generate traffic to dia pages," e tok.

Justice Omotosho, however warn one of Nnamdi Kanu lawyers, Aloy Ejimakor, wey e tok say e dey post sensitive court issues and documents on top im social media.

"Dis na misconduct, and tins like dis fit make dem debar somebody," e tok.
