Useful expressions

 1.  Language about this topic

To binge-watch means to watch several episodes from the same series at the same time. Being glued to the screen means to not stop watching television and at a stretch in this context means 'continuously'. 

• I binge-watch all the time – when I find a series that I like, I can spend hours at a stretch just glued to the screen! 

 2. Language to talk about statistics

A laundry-list is used figuratively to mean a long list of things. 

• The amount of time people in India spend on binge-watching is on the rise.
• Figures for the world generally are at an all-time high, but the figure for India leaves the world average far behind.
