1. reveal extent

To reveal the extent चा अर्थ होतो एखाद्या विषयाची व्याप्ती नजरेस आणून देणे. नव्या अभ्यासाबद्दल माहिती दिली जाते तेव्हा हा शब्दप्रयोग वापरला जातो.

New study reveals extent of teacher shortages.

Researchers seek to reveal extent of problems caused by drought.

2. unfolding crisis

An unfolding crisis  म्हणजे संकटकाळाची माहिती मिळतीये.  Unfolding चा वापर नकारात्मक घटनेबद्दल सांगताना करतात.

पण असा काही नियम नाहीये. याची काही उदाहरणं आहेत:

an unfolding tragedy

an unfolding disaster

an unfolding catastrophe.

Due to the floods, there is an unfolding public health crisis.

Election leads to unfolding political crisis

3. stark warning

A stark warning म्हणजे काहीतरी गंभीर, चिंताजनक, सावधगिरीचा इशारा. Stark म्हणजे अप्रिय,नकोसं.

The doctor gave him a stark warning about his health.

Bad economic figures give government stark warning.
