Useful expressions

 1. pose a threat

Posesa threat  म्हणजे धोका निर्माण होणे. कुठल्या प्रकारचा धोका आहे हे सांगण्यासाठी हा शब्दप्रयोग वापरता येतो.  उदा poses flood threat.

Climate change poses threat to wildlife

Rising crime poses threat to quality of life

 2. grapple with

To grapplewith म्हणजे झुंजणे, लढा देणे.  एखादी कठीण समस्या किंवा एखाद काम ज्यासाठी खूप कष्ट घ्यावे लागतात अशाबद्दल बोलताना हा वाक्प्रचार वापरतात.

 3.  unsung heroes

Unsung heroesम्हणजे असे लोक ज्यांनी खूप चांगलं काम केलाय पण त्यांना त्यांच्या कामाचं श्रेय मिळालेलं नाही. इथे एक लक्षात घ्यायला हवं की स्त्रियांसाठी heroine वापरायची गरज नाही. त्यासाठीही heroच वापरायचं.
