खालील कार्यक्रम पाहा आणि त्यावरचं तुमचं मत कळवा. त्यांचा वापर कसा केलाय हे सुद्धा सांगा.

Useful expressions

1.  randomised controlled study (noun)

यात सहभागी लोकांचे randomly म्हणजे कुठलाही विशिष्ट निकष न ठेवता दोन गट केले जातात.
यातल्या एका गटावर प्रयोग होतो.

The researchers used a randomised controlled study to ensure that the results were reliable. 

2. subjective (adjective)

म्हणजे व्यक्तीनिष्ठ, व्यक्तीसापेक्ष. वैयक्तिक मत किंवा भावना ज्याचं शास्त्रीय रीतीने स्पष्टीकरण देता येणार नाही.

People's reporting of their feelings is subjective, so it's important to find objective data as well.

3.subjected to (verb)

एखाद्या वस्तू किंवा व्यक्तीवर किंवा तिच्या संदर्भात काहीतरी करणे. Leave something far behind म्हणजे खूप मागे टाकणे

We subjected participants to a variety of tests.

4.  flickering (verb)
   
   लुकलुकणे, फडफडणे

Participants tracked flickering objects on a screen.

5. statistically significant (adjective)

आकडेमोडीच्या दृष्टीने महत्त्वाचं
The changes observed are statistically significant

6.correlates with (verb)

दोन गोष्टी एकमेकींशी संबंधित आहेत त्या correlated आहेत असं आपण म्हणतो. पण इथे एक लक्षात घ्या की एका गोष्टीमुळे दुसरी गोष्ट घडते असं नाहीये.

Improved performance correlated with carrying out meditation exercises.
