Useful expressions

1. shrouded

'Shrouded' चा अर्थ गुंडाळलेले किंवा आच्छादलेले. 

Identity of hackers shrouded in mystery.
Highway closed as bridge shrouded by fog.

 2. lingers

To linger म्हणजे रेंगाळणे. गरजेपेक्षा जास्त वेळ थांबून राहणे. अडकून राहणे किंवा चटकन सुटका न होणं अशा वेगवेगळ्या अर्थछटा यातून दिसतात.

 3. decry

'To 'decry' म्हणजे टीका करणे. 'Decry' शब्द बोलीभाषेपेक्षा लिखाणात जास्त वापरला जातो.
