I’m going to show you some different examples of how we can use the word process.
As a noun, a process describes a set of actions which we do in order to achieve a result.
The process of making tea is quick. There are three steps.
We take tea, add boiling water, and leave it for a short time.
We can add other nouns to process to give more information about a particular procedure. For example:
The production process of popular films can take years.
The healing process for a broken arm is long and painful.
We can also use process as a verb. This focuses on the actions that we do as part of a procedure.
