But this is only the start, we want you to submit YOUR old photos of Alvaston so we can add them into our gallery. Your pics can range from 100 years old to simply five years old.
You can either scan them in and send them to [email protected] as a jpg or you can send them through the post to: Alvaston Pictures, BBCi Derby, PO Box 104.5, Derby, DE1 3HL.
Remember to include your name, address (so we can return the pics) and an explanation of what the picture is showing. It would also help if you could include the year the pic was taken.
