Now Playing & Lauren Laverne honour the labels hit by the Enfield fire

Lauren Laverne’s show and Now Playing are coming together to ask you for your tracks from the labels which have been affected by huge fire which took place in Enfield on Monday evening.



A Sony warehouse was burnt which included a large amount of stock from Play It Again Sam (PIAS) – one of the UKs leading distributors for independent labels, some 165!

Lauren's People Playlist tomorrow (Thursday, August 10) will be extended to an hour while Now Playing, as usual, will go out from 7-9pm on Friday (August 11) and play the tracks you have suggested to us from the affected labels. 



The full list of labels is below, and includes the likes of Rough Trade, Domino, Ninja Tune, Warp, Soma, Soul Jazz, Brownswood, Dirtee Stank, Buzzin Fly and many many more.
