The fire in London have hit independent music makers by setting a Sony DADC distribution building on fire, which contains a large amount of stock from distributors PIAS – including records from XL, Beggers, and Sonic Cathedral. Clash have more details, but the full extent is still unconfirmed and some speculation as to how much actual damage to material is still unsure.
And they are also reporting about how a number of musicians including Ricky from the Kaiser Chiefs in Camden and Skepta in Tottenham are urging people to help in the clear up.
