Seafret are the latest BBC Introducing act to be selected for our sought after weekly spot on the Radio 1 playlist. Their track “Give Me Something” (which you can listen to in full below) will receive plays from Fearne, Greg and Scott. Style: Seafret are Jack (vocals) and Harry (guitar) whose parent’s love of Bob Dylan and Elvis helped carve their current sound. With their stripped back-acoustic led songs gaining them a strong fanbase, the guys have already been out on tour with BBC Introducing favourites Jake Bugg and James Bay.
You Need To Know: Seafret first used the Uploader in February 2014 and gained support from BBC Introducing in Humberside. As well as an impressive spread of live shows to date, future support slots are booked in with Hozier and a debut album is in the works, so keep a look out for these bright young stars.
