really looking forward to this week. about time there is a weeks worths of eps about shirley and how she is coping rather than always being about ben!

Wow!! Good week ahead and I'm soo happy eastenders is on for the whole week!!:).

fab week coming up cant wait! just wondering if anyone knows where the turquoise jacket with a butterfly motif on the back is from that roxy mitchell was wearing a little while back? cant find it anywhere!

I am looking forward to this week also,a lot going on. I am loving the New character Joey Branning...very nice choice i must say & great acting David-love it. Also the story about Jean is very sad,-and very well written. I am am an actor,singer...love to know how you can apply for castings when they are looking for new stories to unfold..well done to all the cast/scripting..great stories :))

WATCHED EASTENDERS MON AND TUE THIS WEEK, WELL WHAT CAN I SAY COMPLETELY OVER THE TOP ACTING, MORE LIKE A PANTOMIME DAME IS THE CHARACTER OF KAT. WHOEVER DREAMT THIS SCENARIO UP SHOULD BE IN SOME OTHER PROFESSION, MAINLY KIDS ENTERTAINMENT WHAT UTTER RUBBISH. HOPE IT DOESN'T GO ON TO LONG, EENDERS IS TURNING INTO A FARCE. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last week Alfie suggested to Kat that they have some time together, he got a bottle of wine but Kat had fallen asleep. Today she suggests to him that they spend time together, he says 'tomorrow', she's not happy, he's exhausted, she cheats on him. Seriously, let's get this over with and just break them up - he deserves better

its micheal they never did stop liking each other kat is such a tart u shud make her wear more clothes what do u think this is! give kat a better role like a loving one insted of a tart like more about jean i want her too use micheal too get the money back where roxy!? btw

its wierd how kat was annoyed with roxy being there yet she cheats on alfie 24/7 and i wish ben would go to prison and pay for what he did thats going on for too long now. and omg joey is soooo fit

This storyline with Kat and her "Lover" is farcical and has no entertainment value, the overacting is pathetic and people including myself are turning off, BBC are treating Eastenders viewers as if they are adolescents, please do something or this soap will fall so low it will never recover.

OMG haha EE Kalfie fans are switching off. i know i decided not to watch last night and certainly dont intend to watch EE till after the affair is over. The ratings are all TPTB are interseted in and as a Kat fan youve made me hate her its sooo unfair all i can do is cringe so ive decided not to watch as of tuesday this week. Looks like your storyline is failing where it matters most to you well done to TPTB.

the ratings were lower for wednesdays ep because its not a normal episode. it wasnt very heavily advertised and it wasnt in a normal time slot. the rest of the weeks episodes have rated over 8m

The ratings are lower because Eastenders is rubbish at the moment,1) Kat affair storyline, 2 )too long to conclude the Heather/Ben storyline and in general poor poor writing and cringeworthy storylines,3) people disappearing ie: Ian Beale and no one is mentioning him now, 4) Shirley magically appearing, where has she been? there are no more gripping storylines where I would look forward to watching the outcome, just boring, farcial and unbelievable, BBC PLEASE TAKE HEED OF OUR COMMENTS WE ARE THE VIEWERS AND WE KEEP THE PROGRAMME ON AIR.

@TeddyBearxX - I doubt that Michael and Kat still like each other. As for Kat, she's hypocritical, selfish and possessive that's why she hated Roxy being around but cheats on Alfie. Even tonight she was talking to her 'lover' ans she says "what kind of man sleeps with the landlord's wife?" Well, what kind of woman keeps cheating, then feels guilty, then cheats again?

Kat having an affair storyline how boaring can the writers not think of some original storys ???the whole who was kat on the phone to then cutting to each man it might be all that sort of thing has done before.not that im that botherd but i think its ray .The show needs a good sort out 1- better characters like in the 80s and 90s get rid of the masood familey not bring more in like you are doing also derick and the rest of the brannings [ not dot ] michael , christian need to go 2- bring back martin and sonia and michelle fowler also grant, nick cotton and robbie jackson all the jacksons together are brilliant and bring comedy to the show. 3- stop making the most of the men wear suits all the time and glaming the women up to much with make up ect 4- make the square look more realistic I was watching an old episode from the 80s and the square gardens are over grown theres rubbish on the floor boarded up windows paint work off front doors window frames ect the show looked so more real then I think they need to get rid of the american style tables in the cafe and give it a make under. 5- many years ago they had old characters that use to hang around together dot and etheil just one example they used to be so funny together Eastenders need to bring in some old people to hang around with dot and have some comedy between them going on. many things on the show need to change to make it like the brilliant soap it use to be

the episodes that always air when theyre not supposed to are always low. its nothing to do with the quality of the show.

I bet it's either Jack or a completely random guy.I am loving ee this week I hope these things carry on btw ee just drop the ben and heather storyline it's really annoying me and my penpals,friends and family have stopped watching because of that and theres 199 of us so you might aswell drop it!!!!!!!!!!!

seriously the heather storyline is the best one in ages its not just your normal murder storyline its got interesting dynamics between all the characters and has had good twists in it i cant believe that would make people stop watching and the kat story doesnt. obviously havent got very good taste if you prefer someone cheating constantly to an interesting murder storyline lol
