Photo spoilers: Heading for a fall?

Looks like a good week this week. I don't really understand the whole Tamwar and Afia situation, as he ran in to save her, which shows that he loves her, surely?! Also, where's Oscar? I haven't seen him in AGES...the Branning family seems to have lost a child without anyone noticing.

Shirley needs to get a grip. Dump Phil, leave Hev to her relationship and then leave the square. I don't get the point of her character. She keeps barking on about what it is to be a Mitchell, how would she know, she isn't a Mitchell!!

Ben is really annoying too!

When are we getting some Chryed back on our screens? They are fab!

No wonder that the ratings are going down! Barbara Windsor - gone. Pam St Clement - gone. Lacey Turner - gone. Sam Womack - gone. Jessie Wallace - on a break. Steve McFadden - on a break.



There's no one there to keep the audience interested and entertained when the show's on a break from the most controversial storylines like the cot death one. I mean, surely they can afford having more fun in the writing proccess. Too much gloom and tragedy puts people off... Plus getting rid of Derek would definitely boost the ratings! ;)

And Ronnie seems to be going off the rails a little bit too. First sleeping with Jack not so long ago. Looks like she wants a taste of the other Branning brother too!! Some things never change!! And as for Max, looks like he will take anything that is offered on a plate........

As for Tamwar, I think he is having mixed emotions due to being physically scarred trying to save his love who was never in the fire to start with. When he finally plucked up enough courage to show Afia his burn scars, she reacted with horror. This is not a good reaction for someone who is having a hard time coming to terms with physical scars (not to mention the emotional scars which are often a lot deeper). I personally feel the Tamwar story is very realistic, as I have some physical scars which I would never show to anyone because I dread that reaction. When people have seen my scars, I have had all sorts of comments from "Ouch" to "Gross". If the words are not bad enough, it is that look on the persons face which cannot be hidden which hurts the most. If Afia wants to win Tanwar over, she needs to learn how to NOT react to his scars.

I dont agree what they are saying about eastenders rateing going down but i must sat that derick you bought in to replace phill michel not working in fact he a joke bring phill back out and get rid of the so called hard man

I strongly disliked the new Lucy Beale but seeing Hetti on the behind the scenes clip I now see Lucy a bit differently, and I think I wont really mind Lucy as much as I used too. Look at it this way- she is a young girl who is losing her dad to a gold digger and she wont stand for it! But- appreciating others views- she is quite devious and sly.



Derek IS quite irritating but without his part we wouldn't have as much story lines we do now as interesting. Take the David Wicks one. Without Derek David would stroll in, say hi and start dating Carol- THE END. But Derek turned it into a story of how Carol can no longer be with her loved one due to her wicked brother...... ;) ;) ;)



Just try and think of the positive sides of the character and they dont turn out as annoying as they seem.

I am looking forward to next week's episodes, I can't wait for Chryed to be back on screen, the show isn't the same without them. I am glad Zainab tells the truth and I hope her and Christian become friends. I would also love to see more comedy for the Masods after all the Yusef drama. Also I am so glad Amira is leaving, her return has been awful, I wish it had been more positive instead of having her acting all deluded over Syed, that was awful to watch.

Agreed looks like a great week on the square. Seeing as Derek has been bought up on some of the comments I'd just like to say that I think he is an excellent addition to the show. There is no such thing as bad characters just poor storylines. The ratings are still very good and to put the blame on one character is pathetic. Yes he is a nasty character and doesn't play fair but that's what intrigues me as I wonder what he's gonna do next. He's original and not a cardboard cutout of previous characters. Hope he stays for a very long time.

Hazeldene15 phil nearly married her they only didnt cos she said no - she's more of a mitchell than roxy is. she loves phil and would do anything for him - but she's only stayed with him cos she wants to feel needed. she thinks deep down its over cos he wont see her thats why she's bothering heather - she doesnt want to loose her aswell.



She's one of the better actress's - why axe the good ones? her scenes on xmas day were amazing. she can make any scene interesting. she's gonna be amazing in the aftermath of heathers exit and hopefully we'll see the real truth of phil's feelings for her.

biancas dress sense is awful,



whitney and tyler kissing in every scene they do is BORING and a turn off



michael actor cant act terrible,



why is ray even there he dont do nothing they made such a fuss about bringing morgans dad in and he aint doing nothing and that girl who played his daughter sasha couldnt act i hope they do not bring her back.



and such a fuss was made about this shenice girl oh coz shes lacey turners sister AND.. she dont do nothing, shes like amy a silent character.



EE needs to up its game as it really is losing ratings with all these silly storylines and pointless characters.



bryan it is not hollyoaks so stop trying to turn it in to that. dierdrick santer was a MUCH better producer, why did he leave that post??? bring him back to get back its ratings and people loyal to EE watching again

I'm glad the Masoods are getting a good week next week, they're my favourite family, I've been missing Syed and Christian especially.

derek is veeerrry annoying but he does bring more action and exicitement into the show anyway what is this about the ratings going down there still pretty stable and it looks quite cool this week.

eastenders is good but boring corrie is getting better!but looks like a really good week
