Special treat after Friday night's episode

I think the special treat will be a montage of clips of pat during her time in the square.

They should do a little thing of Pat meeting Frank and them looking down on everybody and smiling, with a drink in there hand, frank witht he bow tie on and pat with big earings on :-)

pat back from the dead doing a frank looking at her grave and walking away that would be good ?

or frank saying ''take care of yourself babe''

or a montage of pats and peggys fight like osymyso's :)

@Aimew As terrific as that would be. The actor who played Frank is now dead, so not really possible.



I hope it's something surreal! EastEnders never do anything like that, so it would be special as a tribute to an iconic character. Maybe Pat walking across the square, happily (like she use to) and just smiling... that would be rather touching!

I think there will be a slideshow kinda thing with all pats most famous moments, like her and Frank, Her and Peggy in the ice cream van

I`m so sad that Pat has gone. She was one of the few great characters left in Walford. I can`t guess what the surprise will be but I hope it`s a fitting goodbye for Pam St Clements, a talented actress. I doubt that it will have been a dream & Pat will still be around.

It's a nice idea to do something at the end. I recon they will do Julias theme or a full version of Pat's theme at the credits and then after that they could have Simon or Peggy or the ghost of Pat right at the end

Mike Reid (Frank) has indeed passed away.Though with today's technology, I'm sure they could use an old scene or voiceclip that could signify Pat meeting him in Heaven, that would be sweet but I'm not sure it'd work.

I think Peggy's coming back though! (or rather I hope she is), but I'm sure we'd already know if Barbara Windor was planning a return :( x

Simon Wicks turns up at funeral

I think all the cast should be raising a glass to Pat wearing her earings :-)

I would say that Simon turns up to say good bye and along with some of them that had left to give her a good east end send off and i also pat is looking down at them with a glass with a drink in and that she is smiling at everyone , it would also be nice if frank with with her looking down but the preson who played frank died so that anit going to be .

Just seen on wikipedia Simon Wicks will be the former cast member making a special appearance at the end of Eastenders tonight.

simon makes like a few second apperance great to have another past resident re appear like david but its sad david wicks will be leaving i think he could have made some great storylines xx

Bianca's stupid not to forgive Ricky for something that happened before he married her - she was the same with Sam's baby in 2010. It's not as if she been the ever faithful wife herself - she cheated on Ricky (twice I think) the first time they were married.

@ Ofcourse I think the only reason Bianca is not forgiving Ricky is because Ricky is suppose to leave this month

aww the funeral was so sad but cried more when david left carol that was horrible would have prefered carol to say she cant go cause shell miss the kids or someting cause at least david and carol know they still love eachother xxx

excellent ep superbly written by simon ashdown . great performances from michael and lindsay, loved the ending with nick. ee at its best. :-)

Im 40 years old and have watched Eastenders from the beginning. David Wicks is one of my all time favourite characters. I was madly in love with him when he was a main character! I would have loved to have seen him stay and for him and Carol to finally make a go of it. Tonights episode was excellent, apart from Derek. I admire the actor who plays him, but the character is not believable, in my opinion at least. Bring back David please. And Simon!

What a poor excuse for an episode last night was! it was the most boring episode for a long time, nothing juicy happened and to string it out for 40 mins was a bit much. i for one like eastenders but even for me it was a let down!

It was nice to see Simon back. I too would like to see both Simon + David back on Eastenders. It would be nice to see them put their past squabbles to rest and hang about for a while. Derek is a real bullyboy, I dont like His character; and making out He's Mr Big when all He is (is an overweight slob). He's repulsive, and it's a cringe to watch Him. He's the one that needs to be taught a lesson, His attitude stinks. Grant Mitchell would sort Him.

Bianca is pathetic for letting a dead baby from years ago spoil Her relationship with Ricky.

Last nights episode was spoilt due to Derek, and Bianca.

How upsetting was the final scene between David and Carol? I love David Wicks and wished he'd stayed in the Square. Poor Carol. Great to see the return of Simon at the end though. Was this just a cameo role or is he returning for a while? A shame he didn't arrive earlier to see Pat when she was alive. Another great episode.

I have enjoyed watching Eastenders with David Wicks in it once again. I was so happy to see him and Carol get back together but really sad to see how it ended on Friday. I would have liked David to stay because Michael French is a fantastic actor, but also because I want to see Carol actually have some happiness. So I hope the rumour of him coming back in March is true. If I am brutally honest, I am not enjoying the return of Derek Branning and it's this character in particular that's making me want to turn off Eastenders. I appreciate that he's a good actor but he's rubbing me up the wrong way and I find the whole Derek Branning thing a massive turn off. He is a mistake!

Im guesing its Simon Wicks I guess it too little too late, whatever Pat did in the past their is no reason why he couldn't visit her on her death bed and i think David and Simon could have least put their differences aside for pats sake. You can easily recognise Pat deeply regrets how she brought those Kids up and in the end they are as bad as she was breifly. They are the terrible people not her. x

Eastenders over the last 2 weeks has been the best on years! It is just ashame there was no happy ending for David and Carol, it would make a nice change to see some happiness in the square! Bring back Micheal French, to show Derek that bullies don't win!!!

a nice ending of the funeral appearance of nick berry,any chance he would come back into it? he could have affair with carol to pay david back for stealing his wife lol!!
