Character of the Month: Kat Moon

Sorry, but I was always TEAM RONNIE! And TEAM STACEY of course, oh and finally TEAM JANINE! The three most amazing characters in EastEnders history. Frankly, Kat doesn't even come close...

Because she was wearing animal prints before they were in style -- and she'll still be wearing them long after they've gone out of style again. And yet, despite all that, no animals were ever mistreated in the making of her Walford couture (though quite a few sequins have given their lives in service!)

i think she earned it i think some o the younger people llike the children should get it because they only young and they act brillantly and they tackle big storylines well

Next month should be dedicated to Lauren Branning! True little star!

I think Kat should be character of the month and Im on team Stacy. Next Month should be little Tiffany cos she is soo funny and she is well cute xxxx

any of the butchers/jacksons would be great especially little tiff or maybe david wicks since he reapperared this month but still think he should have a permanent role in it xx

i luved the story line when zoe said to kat "you aint my mother!" and she replied "yes i am!!" that has to be so far eastenders best part!!

Eastenders going to be great when Zoe comes back, Kat and Zoe is going to make the show better

THE most AMAZINGLY fab character ever!! Love her and everything about her, and love the relationship she has with Alfie. Please dont break this eastenders!!

Kat's amazing but I'm, TeamTanya, TeamLauren, TeamJanine && TeamRonnie... They are the best ones in it (Including Kat)

I agree with @EastEnders_NO1Fan and @Branning_Moon13 Tanya, Ronnie and Janine are my favourites! But I do like Kat (at times) I'm not fond on the way she takes Alfie for granted though! And some of her wardrobe choices make me cringe haha!!!

Kat is a brilliant character. She is everything you'd hope for in Eastenders - strong but vulnerable, feisty but sensitive, melodramatic, proud, funny, great to look at in an over- made-up, tarty way and completely believeable. I also relish it when she giggles - it makes me smile with her. Jessie Wallace exemplifies why some soap actors are the best on tv. Her portrayal can be as subtle as it is strong and always entirely convincing. She is one of the principal reasons I'm such a huge fan of Eastenders and I hope she never leaves - watching her is compelling and a joy.

I think Kat + Alfie are great Characters, and it's nice to see them get on so well when the writers of Eastenders give them good parts to play. Both Kat + Alfie nice looking and sexy, and the writers should give them more "naughty but nice" parts to play.

It's a shame as I honestly believe the character has been ruined. In her original stint, she was iconic and compelling to watch yet I struggle to watch her now. She's gone from one of my favourite characters to one of my least favourites unfortunately. My personal faves are Ronnie and Roxy!

I used to like Kat but ever since she came back, I don't like her at all and I don't like what she does to Alfie. I'm a TeamJanine, TeamBianca and TeamTanya forever!!!

Kat may have been a great character in her original stint but the retunr has been a total failure. Unfortunately I absolutely loathe her now. She has been well and truly ruined and should have never returned. Her and Alfie's dramas are so tedious and I find myself hard to care at all.



Stacey and Ronnie have surpassed Kat's popularity. Ronnie in particular, remains by far my personal favourite.

Kat's always been my favourite character! i love Kat and Alfie together! Hope Eastenders sort out their relationship like how it was in 2003/2005! Hope Jessie wins shes an amazing actress!

I love, love, LOVE Kat! She has had so much to deal with in her life and always bounces back stronger than ever. I think she is fab! Ok, some of her outfits are questionnable, but overall she is fantastic! All she wants to do is take care of her family and people she loves, and will fight to the end for them. She rocks!

I detest her character. The sooner she goes the better.



Stacey, Janine, Ronnie, are all much better characters.

i love kat i think she is azaming she totally deserves to be character of the month, she makes me laugh her and alfie make a great pair :)
