Absolutely brilliantly played by John and Marc - also accolades to Nina, Nitin and Himesh! Mustn't forget "baby Masood" though - who always "cries" from upstairs at completely inappropriate moments, enabling Zainab to stomp off from a converstaion.....lol

i disagree with all this love stuff going on with syed and christian, eastenders has ruined muslim reputation by getting a muslim man to turn gay, it puts shame to muslims which is wrong to the religion. It would be better if christian was to find himself someone else and falls in love with him, syed leaves after a month or two comes back with amira and baby together as one trying to work things out together as now syed has a child, if eastenders want syed gay fine but its wrong that now hes get amira pregnant it is wrong to the culture, theyve lost the plot. its sad on amira

eastenders has to be one of the best soaps that has eva been presented on TV.

this storyline is amazing! its never be done before and i think eastenders have done it perfectly! i love! the fact there still continuing it! chryed for ever tbh, they are meant to be together, somehow someway! :D them lines are soooo cute!

It would be great if the show had a permanent gay couple, to reflect real life, and show them living everyday lives, as homosexual couples never get represented in soaps. The storyline has so much further to go, such as Syed trying to get his family to understand and trying to live the life of a gay muslim. There is so much potential for a civil partnership, adopting etc. that it would be a real shame to have them split forever and one of them leave, for example.



It would also send out the best message for people in Syed's situation to show them that they can and should be who they are and not try to change themselves.

Ideally their next moment of passion (which we all know is coming!) will happen in a very crowded Queen Vic, with Zainab tied to a chair and forced to watch. Serves her right!

Please let this storyline pan out for as long as possible. This is a hugely successful tale which touches so many hearts out there; all ages, both sexes, all religions. It's a beautiful love story and both Marc Elliott and John Partridge really do have the emotions to see this through for a long time to come. This story has certainly made me feel alive and a much more positive and hopeful person. Thank you Eastenders!

Syed and Chrisitan must get back together its what everybody is waiting for, even if there are troubles along the way as i'm sure there will be, this storyline is now the only reason I watch Eastenders to keep them apart would be a travesty!

I love watching Eastenders but I don't think Christian and Syed's relationship was right. Although it has been very addictive these past few months, it was unfair on Amira and the Masood family. I know you can't help what you are, blah blah, but Syed should have not married Amira, definitely not have got her pregnant, and should have told his family about it himself rather than one parent finding out from Christian and the other to get to see them in action!!

i dont think this storyline is right and i think it can offend a lot people and i think we should be sensitive towards this subject as eventhough some may think its true love and they should stay together no matter what others dont see it in that way and many religions and beliefs are against therefore i think they shouldnt stay together as its already taken alot of people off eastenders and many people are offended therefore i think he should just get back to his family find out that his wife is having a baby and live a normal family life raising his kid and looking after amira if she forgives him and say that he loves his god more than christian

Chryed is the most boringest, unromantic couple ever. I just hate the couple, if they love each other then why not admit it to each other and have their happily ever after. If it was my opinion I would have chosen Amira than Syed. I don't know maybe its just don't have feeling for guys.

Anyway, I don't if this is strange but is the Masoods Pakistani or Indian as the wedding of Amira and Syed was so not Pakistani it was Indian. These Eastenders writers need to know what Pakistani culture is becasue most of the things the Masoods do is what i expect from an Indian culture or a White culture. Seriously you need to do some research and your facts right.

At Last, the intense release of relief and suspension has finally flown out of me. I have been creating story lines in my own mind, exploring what's going to happen between these two love struck gentlemen. Follow your heart syed, because what lies there can do no one any wrong. It's setteled there that you want to hold Christian in your arms, like he holds you in his heart, you were meant to be. Watch this space!

arrghh shut up roxy! omg i'll be so annoyed if they don't end up together and if they just end the relationship, otherwise what was the point in the storyline? and eastenders have handled the storyline really well and made it so realistic and, if Christian and Syed do end up together, it would send out a really good message to people in Syed's situation, that they can be themselves and not have to change themselves to suit their religion.

chryed - i love this couple so much, they are meant to be! After all the stress and heartache they still love each other :)

Tamwar - good for him hes being a true brother the syed telling him to follow his heart. after all in reality you do only live once you should make the most of it and if christain makes him happy - go for it!

Zainab - stop thinking what other people think of you! You should love your son no matter what, who cares what others think.

i must admit i hated eastenders, the music and everything... but for the past 3/4 months now i'm struggling to go to sleep having the weird dreams of the christian, syed & amria love triangle, syed is stupid if he believes he can ever get his mother's love buy "re-training the mind" he should be who he wants to be it's not a sin. i've always hated Zainab from the start she is to "greater-than-though" for me to handle she believes that her way is the correct way. She dosen't love syed any more she's just winding him around her little finger like a piece of twine.

I have watched and enjoyed endless Chryed episodes.. I personally thought that it was an amazing story line and has reached out to a new audience that can take advice from it. Personally I have found it helpful for myself and helpful for my friends. I think that Chryed should get back together.. Eastenders aint the same without them.. They have spent to much time focussing on them over the past year to let it slip. After all Syed did win Best Newcomer at The Soap Awards. Lets hope Chryed fans that there is light at the end of the tunnel!

There is hope for Syed and Christian.

People have saying that Alan is creepy - shame that he's been portrayed in that way because what he's offering - the therapy can work but it needs time, not just a few sessions of therapy. If someone wants to become straight then they can be and they have the right to that choice, people should not be prejudiced against them any more than being prejudiced against gay people. Hackie Clune - who was in EE years ago - was a lesbian but fell in love with a man and married him. Tom Robinson, who sang "Glad to be gay" ended up falling in love with a woman and marrying her (he didn't get therapy to become straight though, it just happened, same for Jackie).
