Filming has begun on a brand new short-form drama series for BBC Three, Overshadowed. Meanwhile, BBC Studios’ Head of Continuing Drama, Oliver Kent, has appointed Simon Harper as Executive Producer for BBC One’s Casualty and Holby City.
On Friday BBC Two announced it has acquired Feud: Bette and Joan, Ryan Murphy's eight-part series about the legendary rivalry between Hollywood icons Bette Davis and Joan Crawford.

BBC Three announced their Sorry Not Sorry season, an unapologetic season of programming celebrating stories of those who are taking back control of their identity and owning it.

On Wednesday BBC Radio 2 announced the artists who will form the line-up of their "festival in a day" - BBC Radio 2 Live In Hyde Park - which takes place on Sunday 10 September 2017.

On Thursday, new content to help children learn Welsh was launched on BBC Bitesize.
International
BBC Hausa has unveiled a new female-focused programme: Adikon Zamani (Contemporary Veil) is a new radio programme which will highlight the day-to-day challenges facing women in the Hausa-speaking parts of the world.
