Remember that not everyone is fond of music. Listen to some ways of expressing negative opinions about music:
Sie hört nicht gern Musik.– She doesn't like listening to music.
Ich mag keine Rockmusik.– I don’t like rock music.
Wir mögen Oper nicht.– We don't like opera.
Ich hasse Popmusik.– I hate pop music.
Er hört nicht gern Jazzmusik– He doesn’t like listening to jazz music.
Jazzmusik ist langweiliger als Popmusik.– Jazz music is more boring than pop music.
Oper ist unterhaltsamer als Rockmusik.– Opera is more entertaining than rock music.
Deine Lieblingsgruppe ist gut, aber meine ist besser.– Your favourite group is good, but mine is better.

Did you know?
Germany has won the Eurovision Song Contest twice (in 1982 and 2010). Since the competition’s advent in 1956, Germany has qualified for all but one of the finals. No other country has been represented so often.
Austria has also won the competition twice – once in 1966, and most recently in 2014.
Switzerland may enter songs in any one of its four official languages, as well as English. The country has entered songs in French, German, Italian and English as well as one song in Romansh. Two of its French entries have won the famous competition.
