Giving opinions

How do you feel about your local area? Do you and your family like where you live?

You may be asked the following question:

Wie findest du es dort? – What do you think of it there?

It is easy to give opinions to this question. Just make sure you use a range of verb endings, adjectives and qualifiers.

  • Ich finde mein Haus zu klein. – I think my house is too small.
  • Findest du dein Haus in Ordnung? – Do you think your house is OK?
  • Mein Bruder findet die Stadt langweilig. – My brother thinks the town is boring.
  • Wir finden das Dorf perfekt. – We think the village is perfect.
  • Die Nachbarn sind sehr nett. – The neighbours are very nice.
