Example

Here are sentences describing different rooms/areas of the home:

  • Mae’r ystafell fyw yn gyfforddus. – The living room is comfortable.
  • Mae’r gegin yn lliwgar ac yn gartrefol. – The kitchen is colourful and homely.
  • Mae fy ystafell wely yn lliwgar iawn. – My bedroom is very colourful.

Question

Do the following adjectives need to change after yn? If so, how would you write them correctly?

You can also use the following words to modify the meaning of adjectives:

eithaf… – quite...

… iawn – very...

… dros ben – extremely...
