BBC's Green Paper response

On 24 May the Board of Governors published its response to the Government's Green Paper on the future of the BBC.

The Green Paper, published in early March, set out DCMS proposals for the BBC's future for the next charter period, starting in January 2007.

Over the last couple of months the BBC has carefully considered the contents of the Green Paper. From this, the Governors have put together a response which will give the DCMS insight into our point of view on a whole range of issues and help them develop a White Paper. The White Paper - a final proposal document - is anticipated in either late 2005 or early 2006.

Below you'll find a range of links on both the Green Paper and the BBC's response.
