Don't panic! English follows the Gaelic!

Halò, 's e Michelle an t-ainm a th' orm. Tha mi 33 bliadhna a dh'aois, 's tha mi a' fuireach ann an Utah sna Stàitean Aonaichte còmhla ri m'fhear-cèile agus mo thriùir chloinne. Dh'fhàs mi dèidheil air a' cheòl aig Enya nuair a bha mi nam dheugaire, iomadach bliadhna air ais. Ahem. Co-dhiù, tha mi air a bhith a' miannachadh beagan Gàidhlig ionnsachadh on uair sin. Nuair a chuir mi "learn to speak Gaelic" a-steach ann an Google air an eadar-lìon, fhuair mi lorg air Beag air Bheag. Gu dearbha bha sin fortanach. Tha mòran spòrs air a bhith agam leis! B'fheàrr leam gum b' urrainn dha m'fhear-cèile Gàidhlig ionnsachadh còmhla rium gus am biodh sinn ga bruidhinn a-staigh an taigh, ach gu mì-fhortanach chan eil ùine aige an-dràsta. Eil fhios agad gu bheil mi air ionad 4 a dhèanamh mu thràth? Tha sin a' toirt toileachas mòr dhomh. Chan eil abairt sònraichte as fheàrr leam sa Ghàidhlig fhathast seach nach eil mi eòlach gu leòr. Gu mì-fhortanach, tha aon abairt sònraichte air a bheil mi dèidheil sa Bheurla. Tha mo mhac a tha 2 bhliadhna a dh'aois ga ràdh a-nis cuideachd. Dh'fheuch mi sgur ga ràdh, ach chan eil e furasta. 'S dòcha ma dh'ionnsaicheas mi an abairt ann an Gàidhlig gum b' urrainn dha mo mhac a' Ghàidhlig ionnsachadh còmhla rium. Ciamar a bhios tu ag ràdh "what the hell?" ann an Gàidhlig? San dealbh chithear mi-fhìn 's mo theaghlach a' sreap bheanntan. Bha mòran spòrs againn agus shreap sinn suas glè àrd – cha mhòr nach do ràinig sinn mullach na beinne. Bha sin air a bhith ro chunnartach dhan chloinn 's thionndaidh sinn air ais aig an ìre-sa. Och uill.

Hello, my name is Michelle. I live in Utah in the United States. I'm 33 years old and have three beautiful babies and a wonderful husband. I fell in love with Enya's music when I was a teenager, many moons ago. Ahem. Anyway, I've wanted to learn some form of Gaelic ever since. Beag Air Bheag came up when I googled "learn to speak Gaelic" on the internet. That was sure a lucky break. It has been so fun! I wish my husband could learn with me so I could start speaking Gaelic around the house, but he really can't right now. You know, I am already on unit 4? That just makes me happy. I don't have a favorite phrase in Gaelic because I don't know enough of it. Unfortunately I do have a favorite phrase in English. My two year old son has picked it up now as well. I keep trying to stop saying it myself, but it has been very hard. Maybe if I learn the phrase in Gaelic, my son can at least start learning Gaelic with me??? So how exactly do you say "what the hell?" in Gaelic? The picture is of me with my family. We were hiking up the mountains. It was pretty fun and we got up there real high. We almost made it to the sumit. But it was getting too dangerous for three little kids so we turned back after the picture. Oh well.
