Megan

Don't panic! English follows the Gaelic!

Halò.

'S e Megan an t-ainm a th' orm. 'S e Albannach/Èireannach a th' annam agus bha mi a-riamh airson mo chànan dùthchasach ionnsachadh. Ged is ann bho teaghlach Èireannach a tha mi, chan eil comas labhairt Gàidhlig aig duine san teaghlach. Tha mi a-nise a' fuireach ann an iar-thuath nan Stàitean Aonaichte, 's tha mi air tòiseachadh a rannsachadh a' chànain a-rithist. Bruidhnidh mi Dakota Sioux agus tha e a' còrdadh rium a bhith ag ionnsachadh diofar chànanan. Thàinig fear à Alba a-steach dhan àite-bìdh anns a bheil mi ag obair 's dh'innis e dhomh mun làraich seo. Bhrosnaich e mi gus sùil a thoirt air, 's tha mi gu math toilichte gun tug.

Hello

My Name is Megan. I am Scott/Irish and have always wanted to learn my native language. I am from an Irish family, however, no one knew how to speak Gaelic. I now live in the North West United States, and am just now getting back to my research for learning the language. I speak Dakota Sioux and enjoy learning other languages. A customer from Scotland came into my work place; a restaurant, and told me about this Web site. He encouraged me to check it out, now I am glad I did.
