BBC's Crimewatch used actors to reconstruct the abduction |
Detectives hunting for an accountant who was abducted on a Glasgow street have received reports of several possible sightings. It follows a reconstruction of the last known movements of Andrew Ramsay on the BBC Crimewatch programme.
Police said they had received 13 calls since the appeal, with some reporting alleged sightings in the UK and abroad.
Mr Ramsay, 52, was bundled into a car outside his Cardonald home in February by two men posing as police officers.
A Strathclyde Police spokeswoman said all the calls would be followed up.
"Some callers claim to have seen him in a number of places," she said.
"Any kind of new information is encouraging and we would urge anyone with any information to contact us."
Andrew Ramsay has been missing for nearly four months |
Actors reconstructed Mr Ramsay and partner Beverley Sinclair's movements when they left the Quo Vadis pub in Paisley Road West shortly before 1900 GMT on 22 February.
After leaving the pub they went into a shop, then walked the short distance to their home in Berryknowes Road.
As they arrived, two smartly dressed men told Mr Ramsay he was under arrest and took him away in a dark coloured car.
An e-fit of a man police wish to trace in connection with the incident has also been released.
A 5,000 reward has also been offered for information about Mr Ramsay's abduction.
