Andrew Ramsay has been missing for two weeks |
Police have staged a reconstruction of the last known movements of accountant Andrew Ramsay, who was abducted from a Glasgow street two weeks ago. The re-enactment took place on Wednesday in Berryknowes Road, Cardonald, where Mr Ramsay was snatched by two men posing as police officers.
Det Supt Willie Prendergast said he hoped the move would jog the memories of potential witnesses.
Mr Ramsay, a father of two, had been due to appear as a trial witness.
He was walking home with his partner Beverley from the Quo Vadis pub in Paisley Road West when he was kidnapped.
Two men posing as plain clothed police officers told Mr Ramsay he was under arrest before bundling him into a dark coloured car.
Det Supt Prendergast said: "We carried out this reconstruction in an effort to jog the memories of pedestrians or motorists who perhaps saw Mr Ramsay and didn't realise they were in a position to help police with this investigation.
"I would again urge anyone who has information regarding Mr Ramsay's whereabouts or has any information whatsoever that may assist this inquiry to contact the incident room."
