Trial witness Mr Ramsay, 51, was abducted outside his home in Cardonald on Wednesday 22 February by two men posing as police officers.

Despite repeated appeals he has not been found and there have been no confirmed sightings.

He was bundled handcuffed into a dark coloured car on Berryknowes Road at 1900 GMT.

Det Supt Willie Prendergast said: "As the passage of time grows we are becoming increasingly concerned for Mr Ramsay's safety.

"I am convinced that someone has information relevant to his disappearance.

"Hopefully the generous reward offered by Crimestoppers will encourage that individual to get in touch.

"Our primary objective remains the same and that is to trace Mr Ramsay and ensure his well-being."

Insp Jim Dunbar, of Crimestoppers, added: "The Crimestoppers mantra is just tell us what you know not who you are.

"We have tried and tested processes in place to ensure the anonymity of callers."
