A public inquiry into plans for two wind turbines in Lincolnshire has been fixed for next month. Protestors have been fighting plans for two 90m turbines, which are being proposed for Croft, near Skegness, by Spencer Farm Produce.
It comes as the government has confirmed it wants to double the number of wind turbines in Britain.
The three-day inquiry into the Croft proposal will be held at Coronation Hall, Wainfleet, from 14 June.
The government target is to produce 10% of the country's electricity using renewable resources by 2010.
Energy minister Malcolm Wicks has said this will mean about 2,000 more land turbines and hundreds more offshore.
