Beau Sejour increases recycling
Recycling facilities at Guernsey's Beau Sejour leisure centre are being stepped up to help alleviate pressure on the Mont Cuet tip.

The centre is one of a number of sites upgrading or adding recycling bins to help deal with the problem.

More than five tonnes of waste has been collected in the first week of a new cardboard recycling project.

Eight drop-off bins have been opened around the island and the number of banks could be doubled in the new year.
