Senator pursues Board shake-up
Waterfront development
Senator Syvret wants existing WEB plans to be scrapped
A Jersey senator is pressing ahead with his plans to get the Waterfront Enterprise Board (WEB) wound up.

Stuart Syvret has lodged a proposition asking that all board directors who are not from the States should be removed from office.

He also wants all existing plans from WEB scrapped, and the scheme for the island site to be reconsidered.

Policy and Resources president, Senator Frank Walker, has criticised the move.

He claims Senator Syvret should have waited for more information before lodging his proposals.

Last week, WEB appointed a new managing director, with David Margason replacing John Scally.
