Ice, what part of America are you from?
"I've never had a comment yet that says your lyrical content is weak (or) you don't know how to rap. It's always been that one stigma that your accent sounds American."
Da World On IceDa World On Ice
"The majority of the UK rappers I hear spitting out there, they don't rap in UK accents either. They sound more raggafied to me."

American Idol
"Redman is my idol. He's the whole reason why I started to rap. At the stage that I started listening to hip hop, there wasn't as much UK hip hop as there is now. Understand?"

"I listen to more American influenced music but the whole essence of what I do is from the UK. I wore a Union Jack suit. There's nothing I could do more. I'm sure Puffy gets the stigma of people saying 'why do you wearing shiny suits and fur'."

Don't give it all away
"Try keep hold of as much as you can. The more that you get things from people outside of your camp, you have to let off money.'"

Major labels won't let the cat out of the bag
"Have you [major labels] actually tried to put the same budget that you put behind Atomic Kitten, behind what people would class as the real UK hip hop? The Rodney Ps? The Blak Twangs? Why?"

Iceberg Slimm's new album, 'Da World On Ice' is out now on Urbanstar Records. Check out Ice's official page on their website www.urbanstarrecords.com
