This afternoon will continue to be overcast with spells of heavy rain spreading northwards. It will also become very breezy with moderate to fresh winds, possibly becoming strong in places.

The rain will tend to ease by midnight, leaving variable amounts of cloud, clear spells and lighter winds in its wake. Around dawn, a few scattered showers may redevelop from the south-west in places.

Tomorrow morning will be rather cloudy with a few scattered showers spreading eastwards. In the afternoon, it will become brighter with any remaining showers easing away. Breezy at times.
Outlook for Saturday to Monday
Saturday will start cloudy with a few patches of light rain but it should become dry with bright spells developing in the afternoon. Sunday is expected to turn largely cloudy again, perhaps with the odd spot of light rain or drizzle under the thickest cloud. Monday looks to be maily cloudy with a few spells of rain pushing in from the south, especially in the morning.
