Very windy today with strong gusts along coastal areas. There will be continued spells of blustery rain through the day, some possibly with the odd rumble of thunder.
Tonight
Spells of showery rain will tend to become lighter by midnight with some clear breaks forming too. Further rain will develop during the early hours, heavy in places. Windy but not as much as the day.
Sunday
Tomorrow morning will see further outbreaks of heavy rain, some potentially accompanied by isolated thunder. The rain will clear for most in the afternoon with some brighter breaks in spots too.
Outlook for Monday to Wednesday
Monday will see a cloudy start with the odd light shower. Turning wet and breezy through the afternoon with a band of rain gradually pushing in from the west. Tuesday will then be wet and very windy with outbreaks of rain through much of the day. Staying wet and windy at first on Wednesday before turning dry and bright in the afternoon.
