The Webcams were blacked out and our little friends were led to the safety of a secure drawer when an actual incident at the house threatened to destroy its banality.

At around 8.00pm, shortly before the live eviction, a cry went up from the gallery that something interesting had happened. There was no panic, but security staff led the entire crew to safety where they could relax and watch paint dry to calm themselves down.

An NVBB spokesperson said: "We cannot have this sort of thing happening. The idea of something actually happening in the house would ruin its entire raison d’etre. Viewers would be confused and housemates could become unbalanced."

Around an hour later, when the threat of something interesting happening had subsided, the housemates were led back to the house so that doing nothing could resume.

    Eviction
The three housemates up for eviction were left hanging until Saturday night, their fate undecided.

    Chicken of the Week
CHICK-PEA IS CHICKEN OF THE WEEK
One of the NVBB chickens was awarded one of the highest accolades in the poultry world this week. She is BBC Cambridgeshire's Chicken of the Week!

Although Hooray, Gosh and Nosh were all desperate to be released, it was Gosh who earned the right not to have to listen to Littla any more!

On hearing that he would be leaving, he grinned and shouted to host Davina McSmall "I’m coming to get you."

To which Davina replied, "You’ll have to catch me first."

As Gosh left the house, those left behind were left pondering what his loss would mean to the house. "We’ve lost our chef" wailed Nosh, "We’ve lost ......" she trailed off, unable to think of anything else!

"We’ve gained some space though" piped up Camera-on.

Meanwhile, confused by there being an actual event at the house, the general public lost interest completely and nobody turned up to cheer him out.

Later on Camera-on went to the Dairy Room to tell Big Brother how much he’ll miss Gosh. "The Dangerous Brothers are temporarily no more!" he said.

But considering that Camera-on and Gosh were both about as dangerous as a toothless rabbit in a secure cage, we won’t be missing much!
