Norfolk's Jon Tickle has been voted back in by Big Brother viewers.

Norwich's Jon Tickle has gone back into the Big Brother house in a dramatic twist.

The former Earlham High pupil confirmed his cult status with viewers after they voted him back in, just three weeks after he was evicted.

The data strategy manager, who now lives in Middlesex, surprised the remaining housemates when he wandered back in on Friday night.

If Jon gets his way, even more surprises will be in store for the group. Before he entered the house for a second time, he vowed to spice things up, "They need stirring up," he said.

His promise to rattle the housemates helped him to secure 62 per cent of the votes to be reunited with his Big Brother cohorts.

During his last stint, the 29-year-old received four nominations from his housemates.

However, he was a hit with viewers who were captivated by his constant visits to the diary room and talk of his inventions.

The latest addition to the reality TV household will not be able to win the £70,000 prize or take part in the nominations.

He is also banned from telling the group about what's going on outside the house.

Lisa evicted

Jon's return followed Lisa's eviction from the house to loud boos from the assembled crowd.

The Welsh housemate was the eighth person to go - but her outlandish behaviour which enticed viewers meant she came second to being voted back in on the same night.

Gos, Federico, Justine and Sissy were also geared up for a return. Anouska was unavailable for the contest as she's holed up in the Australian Big Brother house and Tania chose not to take part.

Unprecedented decision

The unprecedented move to put an evicted housemate back into the house is part of an effort by the show's producers to liven up events.

This year's series has been dubbed boring by viewers and the media, and has featured little of the drama which has made the previous shows big hits.
