Wexford beat 13-man Monaghan
Donegal manager Brian McEniff is also county chairman
McEniff includes John Gildea for the Armagh game
Monaghan found Wexford too strong in Saturday's Allianz Division 2B clash at Wexford Park.

The Ulster county lost out 2-12 to 2-8 and ended the match with 13 players.

Right half-back John Conlon and midfielder Anthony Rooney were both dismissed in the second half.

Mattie Forde had an outstanding game for Wexford hitting 1-8 for the winners.

The victory maintains Wexford's 100 per cent record after three matches while Monaghan have two points from as many games.

In Saturday's Division 2A game, Louth defeated Wicklow 2-13 to 0-8 at Aughrim

Gildea exacerbated a knee injury against Dublin
John Gildea: Advised to retire

Donegal football boss Brian McEniff has lost his team trainer Sean O'Kane.

Reports from Donegal have claimed that the Tyrone man quit the post because of "internal difficulties".

The Donegal county board have said that they are unaware of any problem but informed sources within the county have confirmed that O'Kane has stepped down.

The Donegal squad trained on Thursday evening with O'Kane not present.

Donegal take on All-Ireland champions Armagh at Ballybofey on Sunday and the team will include John Gildea despite the Glenties man's admission earlier this week that he had been advised to quit because of knee trouble.

Gildea, who last month reversed his decision to retire from intercounty football, took a bad knock to his recurring knee injury in last Sunday's defeat by Dublin.

McDonnell rested

Christy Toye is recalled to the Donegal attack while in the defence Shane Carr and Niall McCready are drafted in to replace Eamon Doherty and the suspended Kevin Cassidy.

With Kieran McGeeney ruled out by hamstring trouble, Paul McCormack is called up to the half-back line with Aidan O'Rourke taking the number six shirt.

Corner-back Enda McNulty is rested which means inclusion for Pearse Og player Andy Mallon.

Steven McDonnell is also given a weekend off which means inclusion in the full-forward line for Barry Duffy.

John McEntee switches from midfielder to centre half-forward with Philip Loughran now partnering Paul McGrane at centrefield.

Stephen O'Neill's elbow injury means that Seamus Mulgrew is selected at left half-forward in the Tyrone team for Sunday's game against Dublin at Parnell Park.

Manager Mickey Harte has left a vacancy at left half-back which will be filled by either Declan McCrossan and Ciaran Gourley.

Cormac McAnallen's continuing knee trouble means that Ryan Mellon will continue at midfield while Chris Lawn is again on the bench for the Red Hand County.

Meanwhile, Larry Reilly has recovered from a back strain and will start for Cavan against Fermanagh.

Cavan have won their opening two NFL games against Kildare and Meath.

Wing-forward Paul Brady is ruled out by injury which means that Mattie Kerrigan has left a vacancy at right half-forward.

Adams dropped

Fermanagh need a win against their neighbours after losing their opening games against Down and Laois.

Antrim boss PJ O'Hare has made five changes for Sunday's NFL Division 2A game against Westmeath at Casement Park.

One of the changes is enforced with injured goalkeeper Sean McGreevy replaced by Christopher Lynch.

Forwards Peter McCann and Chris Tumelty are dropped with Niall Ward, Jim O'Neill and Terry O'Neill drafted into the starting line-up.

Another change sees Gearoid Adams dropping to the bench with Chris McCann included in the defence.
