Cross retain Armagh title
Dromintee's Aidan O'Rourke comes under pressure from Francie Bellew of Crossmaglen Rangers in the Armagh football final

Crossmaglen Rangers 2-10 Dromintee 1-8

Crossmaglen have won the Harp Lager Armagh senior football championship for the seventh consecutive year.

They went into Sunday's match as hot favourites against neighbours Dromintee at Silverbridge.

However, they had to battle all the way for their five-point victory.

Crossmaglen had been four points ahead at half-time, 1-5 to four points.

Their goal came on the stroke of half-time from corner-forward James Hughes.

Dromintee staged a magnificent comeback in the second half and Barry Shannon scored a goal and a point inside a minute to bring them level.

The underdogs had chances to go into the lead and perhaps avenge their defeat to Crossmaglen in the 2001 final.

But those opportunities slipped away and Armagh county star Oisin McConville clinched victory for Rangers with a late goal.
