Dunloy and Gaels win titles
Paul Brewster lined out for Enniskillen against St Patrick's in the Fermanagh Football Final

Dunloy hurlers and Enniskillen footballers maintained their dominance of Antrim hurling and Fermanagh football on another big day of club action in Ulster.

Enniskillen won their fifth successive Fermanagh football title by defeating St Patrick's 0-20 to 1-6 at Brewster Park.

Cushendall put up a better challenge in the Antrim hurling decider but Dunloy still claimed a 3-12 to 1-8 success to earn an Ulster semi-final meeting with Lavey.

Fermanagh star Tom Brewster hit seven points in Enniskillen's win over St Patrick's who had gone into the game with high hopes after claiming two league wins over the Gaels this season.

However, the game was over as a contest by the interval with Enniskillen having strolled to a 0-10 to 0-2 lead.

The Enniskillen dominance continued after the break and Pat Cadden's injury-time goal was scarcely a consolation for St Patrick's who are still looking for their first Fermanagh senior title.

St Patrick's had Niall West sent off in the closing stages while Tom Brewster departed the fray with an injury.

Martin Curry helped Dunloy win their third successive Antrim Hurling title
Martin Curry: Scored two Dunloy goals

Cushendall, with full-forward Jackie Carson looking dangerous, led 0-2 to 0-0 early on in the Antrim hurling decider.

However, Martin Curry's superb goal helped put Dunloy in the lead and the Cuchulainn's were never headed during the remainder of the contest.

Curry scored his second goal of the match in the 45th minute to put even more daylight between the teams.

Substitute Darren Quinn's late contribution of 1-2 put the seal on Dunloy's first ever three-in-a-row in Antrim.

Conor McCambridge scored Cushendall's goal in the final minute of normal-time but Quinn still had time to notch his three-pointer after Eamon McKee's shot had been blocked.

The victory possibly flattered Dunloy.

Cushendall were well in the game in their first half but they failed to take several scoring opportunities.

The 'Dall attack also found Dunloy goalkeeper Gareth Magee in tremendous form with the Cuchulainn's custodian making three point-blank saves.

Oisin McConville's Crossmaglen were too strong for Silverbridge
Oisin McConville: Hit 1-8 for Crossmaglen

Dunloy lost their skipper Gary O'Kane late in the first half with his suspect hamstring again causing his departure.

However, O'Kane's absence didn't seem to unduly affect Dunloy thereafter.

Meanwhile, Loughgiel's Antrim Minor Hurling Final victory was somewhat marred by an incident involving a Dunloy player who had been sent off in the game.

Gabriel Crawford was one of two Dunloy players sent off in the final which Loughgiel won 1-14 to 1-6.

After the final whistle, Crawford ran on to the pitch and appeared to strike two Loughgiel players.

Meanwhile, Oisin McConville hit 1-8 as Crossmaglen remained on course for their seventh successive Armagh Football title with a 3-14 to 0-7 quarter-final win over Silverbridge.

Just as in the All-Ireland Final, McConville had a penalty saved with Silverbridge goalkeeper Kenneth McVerry making the stop early in the second half.

However, Crossmaglen were already in control at that stage with Jarlath Burns' brave efforts at midfield for Silverbridge not being supported by his team-mates.

Silverbridge led 0-4 to 0-3 after 22 minutes but McConville scored 1-1 in the closing stages of the opening period to put Crossmaglen 1-6 to 0-5 ahead at the break.

James Hughes scored Crossmaglen's second goal and substitute Stephen Kernan, a son of Armagh manager Joe Kernan, hit 1-1 for the winners in the closing stages.

Crossmaglen started without full-back Donal Murtagh who suffered a bout of food poisoning last week.

The Cross captain was replaced by former Louth star Gareth O'Neill.

Also in the Armagh Football quarter-finals, Keady captain Barry Doyle fisted a goal in the seventh minute of injury-time to give his team a controversial 3-8 to 2-9 over Harps.

With 10 minutes remaining, Harps led 2-7 to 1-5 but an astonishing Keady goal then got the south Armagh side back in the match.

Brendan Cumiskey scored the goal seconds after appearing to lash out at his marker.

After consulting with a linesman, the referee sent off Cumiskey but amazingly, the goal was allowed to stand.

Despite being a man down, Keady now had the impetus and they put Harps under intense pressure.

Absent Tierney

Harps, still looked likely to hang on, with them clinging on to a one-point lead deep into injury-time.

However in the seventh-minute of added time, Barry Hughes' floated free into the Harps goalmouth was fisted to the net by Doyle.

Needless to say, Harps players and officials were far from happy at the length of injury-time and they surrounded the referee at the finish.

Five Ronan Clarke points helped Pearse Og defeat Tir na nOg 0-17 to 0-7 in the opening quarter-final at Ballymacnab.

In the other Armagh quarter-final, goals from two of the four O'Rourke brothers helped Dromintee defeat Mullaghbawn 2-7 to 1-5.

Declan Crowley hit an early Mullaghbawn goal but with the 'Bawn minus the injured county goalkeeper Benny Tierney, Aidan O'Rourke and Michael O'Rourke scored the crucial Dromintee three-pointers.
