Millwall cool on Sara
Millwall manager Mark McGhee has admitted he is unlikely to pursue Dundee striker Juan Sara.

The Argentine hitman looked like clinching a move to the English First Division side following a short spell at the New Den toward the end of last season.

But McGhee said there were "complications" surrounding the player's contract.

Juan is a firm favourite with the fans and there will be no-one more pleased than them if he is still playing in the Dark Blue jersey next season
Dundee spokesman
"It's difficult because there are still complications involving Dundee, a club in Italy and an agent in South America," McGhee told the club's official website.

"It's not a simple one. As it stands now, I don't know if this is something we are going to pursue."

But Dundee said their fans would be delighted if Sara stayed at Dens Park.

The striker scored 13 goals last season and has become a firm favourite with Dundee fans since his arrival in Tayside from Cerro Porteno in the summer of 1999.

A Dundee spokesman said: "Juan has been through a lot after going down to Millwall and then Millwall changing their minds.

"But what I will say is that Juan is a firm favourite with the fans and there will be no-one more pleased than them if he is still playing in the Dark Blue jersey next season."
