| Monday, 17 February, 2003, 17:14 GMT Wilder left frustrated Halifax Town manager Chris Wilder says it would be a "tragedy" if his side did not gain promotion because off the club's off-the-field problems. Wilder has led the Shaymen into third place in the Nationwide Conference as they challenge for an instant return to Division Three. Halifax went into administration last summer and following a recent ruling by the Conference are not allowed to sign any more players. "It's not helping me to do the job in the proper way. Everybody else is making one or two signings and I would like to strengthen," Wilder told BBC Sport. "There's no money for transfer fees, but I could do a bit of wheeling and dealing. "It doesn't need a lot, just some fresh legs in a couple of positions and a bit more competition for the last two or three months of the season, but I can't do anything." |
