Sara has scored 4 goals this season

Coventry City have completed the signing of Dundee striker Juan Sara on loan until the end of the season.

The 24-year-old Argentine has been registered at Highfield Road and will be eligible for selection for the First Division league game against Brighton on Saturday.

Sara moved to Dens Park in the summer of 2000 and has scored 34 times during his time on Tayside.

However, the South American has not been enjoying his best form this season and has found the net just four times in 21 outings.

Coventry boss Gary McAllister is also assessing former Le Havre attacking midfielder Kareem Kerkar.

McAllister said: "We've got Kareem Kerkar, who was at La Havre and came over on loan to Manchester City with Ali Benarbia.

"They have not offered him anything after a short-term deal so we're having a look at him too."
