Eustace made just one appearance for Boro

Coventry midfielder John Eustace has returned to Highfield Road after his loan spell with Middlesbrough came to an end.

The 23-year-old made just one appearance as substitute during his month with Boro after coming on in the final stages of last Saturday's draw with Liverpool at Anfield.

"John did well during his loan and we will continue to monitor him at Coventry," Boro manager Steve McClaren told BBC Radio Cleveland.

"However, since bringing him in, we have been able to strengthen the squad by signing several players on a permanent basis."
