| Wednesday, 19 February, 2003, 13:34 GMT Robins keen to make a mark Rotherham striker Mark Robins would consider making his loan period at Bristol City into a permanent move. The former Manchester United hitman is currently on a month's loan at Ashton Gate. Robins is well down the Millmoor pecking order behind Alan Lee, Richie Barker, Darren Byfield and Paul Warne.
The 33-year-old has another year of his contract at Rotherham to run but says he would consider a permanent move to the Robins if the right offer came along. Robins told City's official website: "Putting the ball in the back of the net is the hardest job in football, but I've done it pretty regularly in my career. "Hopefully I can help Bristol City convert the chances they are creating. "I have another year on my contract at Rotherham and they are adamant that they want me back at the end of the month. "But you never know in football. City are a big club, which is one of the things that attracted me." |
