Keen kept out Michael Proctor's second-minute penalty, awarded after the keeper had tripped Leigh Wood, and denied the on-loan Sunderland striker again three minutes later. The former Newcastle stopper also denied Jon Parkin and Lee Nogan but needed the post to keep out another Nogan effort. The visitors came close to snatching all three points late on, Steve Halliday striking the post with a left-foot drive and substitute Jonny Allan hitting the angle with a 35-yard piledriver.
