Rochdale twice came from behind to earn a valuable 3-2 victory over Hull.

Lawrie Dudfield fired the visitors in front after 25 minutes, just seconds after smacking the ball against the post, before the home side hit back seven minutes later through a Michael Oliver header.

Dudfield, who was a constant threat for the Dale defence, restored Hull's lead from close range on the stroke of half-time.

But Rochdale, with youngsters Kevin Townson and Patrick McCourt coming off the bench, they control after the interval.

McCourt put Rochdale level within two minutes of his introduction before setting up Townson for the winner.

Picking the ball up in midfield, McCourt weaved his way past a host of defenders before Townson bagged his 14th goal of the season.
